What I do

Instead of a traditional photography business, I have a photography mission. I aim to provide an alternative, to grow creatively, and have fun doing it. I select assignments that are right for me, and bring me on location. Most of my clients want to make their own prints or enjoy them as digital files; I charge a shooting fee. Prints are made on request. Photography isn’t my prime source of income, it’s a passion.

I come with lighting equipment to fit the job; monoblocks, packs, softboxes, scrims, and backgrounds. Professional digital SLR’s or Medium format film.  Group poses, portraits in your home, sports without flash, and weddings done affordably just because I like them.

The business of photography seems to be about selling prints, trips to studios, contracts and minimal location lighting.

I’m an alternative.

I’m available in California’s Inland Empire and High Desert regions; but I go as far as Los Angeles for the right project.

I charge $40 an hour for shooting time, and deliver digital images on CD. If I make prints I charge 20% above cost for them. Most location portraits and sporting events take one or two hours shooting time. Weddings can take four to eight hours.
